At NightSchool, students of life can explore, imagine, create and mingle in an incredibly inspiring and magical setting. Themes and activities reflect current events, favorite pastimes and playful experiences, each celebrating the unique, resourceful and exciting community of the East Bay.

Get back to school and unleash your inner nerd, spark a new hobby, hobnob with artists and experts, enjoy a show, and relax and contemplate your place in the universe!

3rd Friday of Every Month (7pm - 11pm)

  • Adults 18+
  • $15 General Admission / $5 Members
  • Includes full access to exhibits, special activities, workshops, open labs, discussion forums, live Planetarium show, film screenings and telescope viewing (weather permitting)

    EXTRA CREDIT
    2012: The Future. Curious what your future holds? NightSchool's Extra Credit will examine the future from many angles including scientific, spiritual, technological and philosophical. What better place to toy with big kid questions than at a super cool science center with colossal telescopes, fascinating exhibits, great food, drinks and plenty of friendly smart people to postulate with!

    FIELD TRIP
    The coolest part of school was being out of school and going on Field Trip... Take a field trip to Chabot and celebrate Earth month with an invigorating night hike, contribute to science, race to find climate change solutions in our award-winning Climate Lab and connect with earth-friendly people and ideas over music, drinks and locally grown food.
